Abstract Submission and Important Dates
All abstracts must be submitted electronically through
the conference website. Abstracts submission deadline is April 12,
2009. The abstract should be limited to 600 words (1,500 words if
written in Chinese) and should include
methods, main findings and arguments. Please provide the full name(s),
affiliations, phone numbers, and email addresses of the author(s)
(please underline the presenter of the paper).
Specify the Subject of
your abstract in accordance with the following example: “Subject
1-1 civic rights and gender equity
Acceptance of abstracts
will be notified by 15, May 2009. A draft of the completed paper
should be submitted by 30, September 2009 with the limit of 5000
words (10,000-15,000 words if written in Chinese). Failure to meet
the above requirements may result in cancellation of paper
presentation. Abstract Submission is now open. Please visit the

• Abstracts must be
submitted in English or Chinese.
• Abstracts will be printed and reviewed as submitted. It is the
author’s responsibility to submit the abstract in
correct format (provided on the conference website)
with no spelling or grammar errors.
• For multiple submissions, consistency in authors’ names should be
maintained to avoid duplication in the author
index of the final program .The presenting author’s
name should be underlined.
• PowerPoint presentations using a PC data projector will be the
standard method of visual data presentation.
Facilities for slide projection and overhead projectors
will NOT be available.
• Acceptance of all abstracts will be acknowledged by e-mail.
• All accepted abstracts will be published in the Congress
Proceedings, online, and may be reproduced in various
forms for the conference purposes.
